I'm Mondod, I follow my curiosity into rabbit holes.
Right now, I'm exploring whether there's reasonable evidence that the collection of traits that some might label as "ADHD" could have evolutionary bases that helped human species thrive. My focus isn't on disorders or diagnoses, but on understanding how these particular cognitive patterns and behaviours might serve evolutionary purposes.
I'm particularly interested in whether humans have similar dynamics to other species like bees, where a specialized group of "scouts" have the innate behaviour of continuously searching for new food sources. What I've learned about bees' success is illuminating:
1. Each group in the hive knows their own goal and duty to the collective
2. Different groups within the hive are aware of other groups' jobs
3. There are clear communication channels both within groups and between different specialized groups
This natural organization might explain how neurodiversity serves evolutionary purposes in human societies too.
I'm also deeply fascinated by play - how it functions as both a learning mechanism and a creative force in evolution, potentially serving as the natural environment where scout-minded individuals thrive and contribute most effectively.
Based on this hypothesis, is it possible to unlock the potential for these trailblazers by creating infrastructure that can make these three elements come true for the human species?
